Put them in a case

Look on a map
Using Apple Maps to locate your lost AirPods may not be your cup of tea. But it’s not impossible. The most recent update to Apple’s iOS 11 mobile operating system includes a new feature called “Directions” that helps users locate their missing wireless earbuds. This is especially helpful when they’re in their Smart Cases.
Although Apple Maps isn’t the most precise tool for the job, the app will nonetheless show you the right place. There are a couple of ways to do this, but we’ll talk about the most common approach first. The AirPods Finder app is free to download and will let you use your iPhone or iPad to locate your missing wireless earbuds, but you’ll still have to put in the effort. The best part is you’ll be back in business in no time. You can also use the app to locate your lost or stolen iPhone or iPad, as well as locate your missing contacts. This is an especially useful function for owners of Apple’s latest iPhone X or iPad Pro.
Get AppleCare+ for them
