Whether you’re a rabid fan of the Amazon Echo, or just curious about it, it can be a good idea to find out how to ask Alexa questions. There are plenty of ways you can do this, whether you want to ask Alexa about your day, or you want to ask her to announce that dinner is ready.
Sam L Jackson mode
During a recent hardware event held at the Amazon headquarters in Seattle, the company announced that they will be offering a new celebrity voice for Alexa. This voice will be named Samuel L. Jackson, and will be available later this year.
The voice will be available in clean and explicit versions. Users will be able to toggle between the two. In the future, other celebrity voice packs will be added.
Until then, you can expect this celebrity voice to be used for weather forecasts, jokes, and questions about the calendar. It is also available for music and career questions. The voice doesn’t yet support shopping through Alexa, but it does allow you to control it.
The voice is able to use Amazon’s neural text-to-speech technology to replicate speech patterns. This technology is what allows Alexa to play songs and answer questions. It was also used for the Michael Jackson voice. The new version of the voice was created in response to comments from customers.
As part of the announcement, Amazon also announced that it will be adding more celebrity voices in the future. The first celebrity voice pack will be Samuel L. Jackson. The voice will cost 99 cents, and it will include news, jokes, and a weather report.
Currently, the voice is only available in the United States. It will be available on all Alexa-enabled devices that are connected to your account. You can also use the service with the Alexa app. You can download the skill by saying “yes” in the Alexa app. Then, you will be charged with your default credit card.
The voice also includes a custom wake word. This phrase is called “Hey Samuel.” If you say “Hey Samuel” without using Alexa, your device will play the digitally-generated voice of Samuel L. Jackson.
Chuck Norris mode
Despite the fact that Alexa has a few modes for day to day interaction, she also has her own gimmicks. From the self-destruct mode to the Chuck Norris mode, there are plenty of nifty options to choose from.
It’s no secret that the smart assistant is smart. Alexa can respond to questions in cat-like fashion, answer the most mundane of questions, and spit out fancier things such as an “I Love My Wife” gift card. However, Alexa’s best attribute is its innate sexiness. As such, a lot of women have resorted to using Alexa as their main assistant.
As far as the big daddy is concerned, the Alexa ooh la la notwithstanding. While Alexa is not likely to become a household name, she’s no doubt a useful companion to have on hand. And she’s certainly the most useful of all her friends. Aside from her ability to make breakfast, she’s also a good friend for a prank or two.
It’s hard to resist the cuteness factor, and this is where the most important thing to learn is how to handle this. In the case of Alexa, this means being a little more nimble and using her to your advantage. For instance, you can get her to blow up your Amazon Echo device, crush the thing, or tell you to pick up the phone. If you have a bit more oomph, you can actually order Amazon’s wares from your parrot.
You can also ask Alexa the most important question of all. The smart assistant’s answer will no doubt be the tidbit of the day, but you might want to check your memory before announcing that you’ve hit up the Amazon store.
Star Wars reenactment mode
Whether you are looking for the best way to spice up your smart home or want to know the right way to say goodbye to your obnoxiously named roomie, you have come to the right place. Amazon has you covered with a myriad of cool tech tidbits ranging from funky robots to a plethora of cool new books to name but a few. The best part is, they are all free. Plus, if you have a Kindle Fire you can start reading the latest novels in the cloud. That is the best way to keep track of your reading list. You can even use the Fire to control a virtual home and garden for you and your family. If you have an Echo Dot you can even listen to your favorite podcasts without ever stepping foot in your house. And since Alexa has access to Amazon’s proprietary IMDb, you can even look up any of your favorite books in the cloud. Whether you are looking to impress your new spouse or need to do some serious chores in the privacy of your own home, Alexa is the best way to do it all. If you are a Star Wars fan, you will be spoiled for choice, and not to mention, amused.
Ask “Alexa, do you work for the CIA?”
Whether you are a conspiracy theorist or not, it is important to avoid asking Alexa questions that are scary or creepy. Alexa is not a government spy, but she may have some connections with other government agencies. Having your personal information hacked by a government spy can be bad.
In fact, the CIA has no direct access to Alexa. Alexa is a free invention that is given to the public. In order to ask a question, you must first activate the device. Often, the device lights up when it is about to answer a question.
Alexa is also smart enough to recognize your voice and distinguish it from other voices in the household. However, she has no built-in common sense. She might respond in a biased manner. Unless you are asking a personal question, you should never ask Alexa questions about your loved ones.
One of the most creepy Alexa responses is to ask a question about your deceased loved ones. Many people have claimed that Alexa has brought up deceased relatives. Some have even recorded Alexa using derogatory language.
Alexa also has a superiority complex. It has been said that Alexa believes chemtrails are real. These are deliberately sprayed at high altitudes. They are part of clandestine programs directed by government officials.
Alexa also has an odd sense of humour. She can laugh out of nowhere, or answer a strange question. In the past, Alexa has responded with strange remarks about the forest. She has also referred to sheep as Dolly.
However, Amazon has updated its response to this question. The new answer is “No, Alexa isn’t a government spy.”
Alexa has also been known to change the subject of an argument. In one case, Alexa said, “Chuck Norris will find you.” This response was unsettling for some.
