Having used Google for so many years, I have gotten to know their little quirks and idiosyncrasies very well. They are always coming up with new things to do and introducing new features. Whether it’s the “Google Assistant” speaking in Morse code or their snarky ad campaigns, I love being a part of the Google world.
OK Google, see you later alligator
Often shortened to “later gator”, this is a famous catchphrase that originated in the 1950s. It was written by Bobby Charles and was recorded by Bill Haley and his Comets. In 1956, the song peaked at number seven on the UK charts. It also made a number six appearance on the Billboard pop charts for 19 weeks. It was a hit in the United States and was considered one of the most popular rock and roll songs of the 1950s. The song was also covered by numerous other musicians and bands, including Bob Dylan and The Band.
It was also featured in the film Rock Around the Clock. It was released on Decca in January 1956. In Germany, it was retitled “Mr. Patton aus Manhattan.” Other versions were also recorded by Werner Hass and Renee Franke. There were also many unrelated songs recorded that referred to the phrase. Bob Dylan even recorded a parody of the song, which became popular.
Sue google? Are you mad?
Apparently the Arizona state court isn’t the only jurisdiction with a judge on the case. On the same day, a pair of lawsuits hit Google’s doorstep. As you might expect, the two plaintiffs have similar claims. They’re not exactly praising the Google name – they’re looking to a jury to make up for lost time. Among their claims is that Google was the best of the best in terms of spam prevention, and the company has a duty to deliver the RNC’s best bets. That, of course, is no small feat.
In the wake of the two lawsuits, Google is launching the aforementioned feature to all new accounts. The company has also added a feature to purportedly delete account activity data in real time.
Can Google Assistant speak in Morse code?
Whether you’re interested in learning the ancient art of Morse code, or want to communicate with someone who uses it, you’ll soon be able to do so with the help of Google’s new Morse code keyboard. This keyboard is available for iOS and Android devices. But you’ll need to make sure you have the latest version of the app to take advantage of all its features.
Fortunately, Google has teamed up with Tania Finlayson, a speech-impaired developer who has helped bring Morse code to the Google keyboard. Finlayson’s husband developed a special device that records a person’s head movements and turns them into Morse code.
Once you’ve installed the keyboard on your device, you’ll be able to access it by tapping the Gboard icon. Once you’ve done so, you’ll be able to adjust some settings to customize the keyboard. The app will then populate the keyboard area with large icons that show you how to enter Morse code, and it will also offer you word suggestions.
The keyboard also has an accessibility feature that allows users to adjust the sound that will be heard when a key is pressed. This feature is particularly useful for users who have speech disabilities.
You can adjust the “Word timeout” to set the length of time that Gboard will wait before turning letters into words. You can choose between 250 milliseconds and five seconds.
You can also change the “Enable key repeat” option to turn it on. This will allow you to hold down the key to repeat the keystroke. The keyboard will start the repeat process automatically after 500 milliseconds on iOS, and 200 milliseconds on Android.
Don’t sell out to Google
Getting your hands on Google’s stock in trade isn’t a bad thing. Google is certainly not the only arbiter in the online sex department, so you have a choice of who you will tslappy with. Fortunately, Google’s got your back, and a slew of quality people to boot. Google is one of the largest and most nimble companies in the country, so you’re in good hands. After all, you’ve got the best and the brightest chasing you around. Unlike other large corporations, Google isn’t prone to infighting. This allows it to focus on its core competencies without worrying about competing for your time and attention. This means you can be sure you’re on the right track. A slew of enlightened employees will make your life that much easier, and you’ll be left to concentrate on what matters most. Besides, it’s not a bad way to get to know who you are.
