Enter the LIFE’S GOOD AWARD
LG’s LIFE’S GOOD AWARD encourages you to think out of the box and develop innovative ideas that will help the community improve. LG Electronics will award USD 1 million to the winning submissions. The contest is open to individuals, organizations, and businesses who are aged 18 or older.
This innovation challenge was inspired by LG’s Vision of Better Life for All. The contest is targeted at identifying solutions that promote social, environmental, and accessibility values. It is also designed to engage the global community in the advancement of Life’s Good.

Launch the Life’s Good Film Project
The Be Unstoppable Film Project is the brainchild of longtime television executive Kevin Bright and renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist Charlie Kaufman. In honor of the project’s launch, UPS and The Black List will provide each selected filmmaker with a hefty $100,000 check. Meanwhile, the Smithsonian Institute will showcase a futuristic ‘FUTURES’ exhibition at its Arts and Industries Building. These are just a few of the marquee names involved. With the help of some well-placed partners, the Life’s Good Film Project will become a thriving reality.
One of the first things the life’s Good Film Project’s producers did was to identify the best film makers in the country. This group of talent includes a who’s who of award winning filmmakers and production companies. As the project’s lead, Kevin Bright is tasked with selecting the best of the bunch. He will oversee the process until the fruits of their labors are rewarded. If you are a seasoned filmmaker, or are just starting out, it’s never too early to start making plans. By taking a more holistic approach to financing, you will have the opportunity to make your mark on the industry while you are still young and feisty.
Luckily, there are a few ways to go about it. For example, there are plenty of crowdfunding platforms out there. Some of these include Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Another alternative is to go the old-school route and contact your local theatre or arts organization.
Launch the Life’s Good Music Project
LG Electronics recently launched the Life’s Good Music Project, a two-part campaign to highlight young musical talent and empower the next generation of artists. The project features singer-songwriters from around the world. With a global music challenge, the competition invites singer-songwriters to submit their best works.
Taking inspiration from the company’s “Life’s Good” slogan, the campaign provides aspiring musicians with the chance to share their voice and creativity with the world. One of the winners will have the chance to perform their song with Grammy Award-winning musician Charlie Puth. A third winner will record a song with Australian-New Zealand artist Stan Walker.
In August, LG announced the Life’s Good Music Project, which received more than 1000 submissions from 36 nations. The finalists were flown to Los Angeles to meet with Puth. He guided them on how to craft a positive message that encourages hope and positivity.
Now, the winner of the global contest will have the opportunity to work with Puth on the Life’s Good theme song. Their song will be released as the official theme song of the Life’s Good campaign, and will be promoted on LG’s social media channels. It will also appear on the company’s digital billboards in Times Square in New York City, and in Piccandelly Circus in London.

Director Jackson Tisi is responsible for the film, which will explore the idea of Life’s Good and how it can inspire meaningful action.
